To All Interested Parties and Affected Entities:

Pursuant to Utah Code § 10-2-808, this letter serves as official notice that the petition for Annexation filed on May 27, 2026 was certified on June 18, 2026 (the certification date), as meeting the statutory requirements.

The proposed annexation area is named the "River Drive West Addition" and is shown on the attached land survey. The seven properties are contiguous with each other and are located within the Torrey annexation expanse area. The "River Drive West Addition" is contiguous with the Torrey Town Boundary line. The properties of the five petitioners exceed 65% of the total acreage. in the proposed annexation and 88% of the total assessment value of the proposed annexation area.

The petition and survey are available for examination and copying at the Torrey Town office, PO Box 750027, 75 East 100 North, Torrey. Office hours are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 3 PM.

The Torrey Town Council may grant the petition after July 18, 2026, unless a written protest has been filed no later than July 18, 2026. If the annexation petition is approved, the annexed area will automatically be annexed into the relevant special districts serving that area of Torrey.

A written protest may be filed in the Wayne County Clerk's Office, PO Box 187, 18 South Main Street, Loa, UT 84747. Office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Each protest letter must state the reason for the protest, the justification for the protest under Utah Code 10-2-8, the name, address and contact information for the person or entity filing the protest, and include any other information the protestor feels is relevant. The protest letter must also be sent to the Torrey Town Clerk at the address on this letterhead.
