We encourage all LEPC members to attend the upcoming Community HazMat Conference. This conference is a great opportunity to increase awareness, strengthen partnerships, and improve preparedness for hazardous materials incidents that could impact our communities.

Topics this year will include lithium battery risks—including hazards found in homes and everyday devices—shelter-in-place procedures, and the dangers associated with chemical exposures. These are important issues that require coordination between emergency responders, government agencies, industry partners, schools, healthcare, and community organizations.

Attending the conference will provide valuable information, practical knowledge, and networking opportunities that support the LEPC mission of planning, preparedness, and public safety. Your participation helps strengthen our ability to work together effectively during emergencies and protect the communities we serve.

You can register for the conference here.
